What about your occupation makes you proud?

What makes me proud is that I know we are making our farmers more efficient and profitable. Allowing them the ability to run a bigger business within the same amount of time or have more time with family with the same business.

Knowing our farmers are taking this time to spend more time with family and educating their kids into the business of farming makes it even more important for our countries future.

What sets you apart?

What sets me apart from others is I think differently. Hard for me to look at things around me and not think why/how does it work. So I take almost everything I own apart to look inside. I am always wondering is this the best solution for this problem or just the best solution for the moment given technological restrictions. Because of that I am always looking for a better way for our customers in the products we make and listening to them to hear what they think.

What is your main concern about the ag industry – currently and in the future? What keeps you up at night?

Regulation is my biggest concern. Farmers are being asked to collect loads of information today and in the future even more. It is an opportunity to learn even more about farming at national level (needed), but also a door to affecting the profits of farming even more. Only need to look at other highly regulated industries to see the possible end results.
