Job Title

Executive Vice President

Winnipeg, NA, Canada

Are you a Master or a Maverick?

I am a Maverick. I am willing and eager to challenge the existing technology in order to compete in a very competitive aspect of the industry which is harvesting technology. It is essential that smaller size companies pursue innovative technologies in order to compete with larger established companies. This requires more investment and allocation of resources to develop higher capacity and higher productivity technology. I am willing to experiment with innovative technologies which provides an opportunity to compete on sales and higher margin products. My advice would be aggressive on product development and innovations in product development.

What advancement in technology do you foresee in the next 10-20 years?

It is providing software for the end- users to give them a lifeline to tap into technologies that are out there. It is being able to successfully apply the technologies that exist to their farm operation to get maximum productivity.

What would you say to policy makers if you had the chance?

Increasing the investment into ag education funding is a major issue. We need to continue to keep North America as leaders in ag education.
