My biggest concern about the ag industry is that the EPA is just going to completely regulate us to death. I'm really worried about the types of regulations that, you know, they have tried to impose and haven't been successful at yet. Some of the stuff they are talking about, I'm really worried that, I'm a young farmer and by the time I get into my twilight years the regulations are really going to be debilitating.
Our relationship with our landlords, a lot of the people we rent from, some of it's going into multi-generational relationships. That's probably the thing I'm most proud about is that my family is, to me the tenure you have with your landlords really speaks volumes about the type of operation you run.
I want better and better hybrids and varieties of different crops to keep raising our yields. We're barely meeting demand as it is. As we go forward we're going to continue to need to produce a lot of grain and we're really going to need these seed companies to help us out.
