I was a maverick to start. But now I think I’m becoming a MASTER AT BEING A MAVERICK.

What’s your advice to other producers?

A lesson to other farmers is do what you feel comfortable doing. For me it goes back to the personality. The world is made up of incredibly successful people with all different types of personalities. So my thought is, I’m just not satisfied with the status quo, and I always think we could do better. You know, if I had to go back through the last ten years and do everything the same as I did every year, I think I’d quit. There’s gotta be excitement, there’s gotta be something.
